These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to the PGP in Forward Deployed Engineering & Applied AI Solutions offered by FDE Academy (a Futurense Technologies Pvt. Ltd. initiative) with an add on IIT Roorkee certification. By enrolling in this program, you (“the Student”) agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Program Overview & Fees

1.1. The total Program Fee is ₹3,00,000 + GST (as applicable).

1.2. Admission Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of ₹10,000 is required to secure a seat upon selection. This amount is adjusted against the total program fee.

1.3. The fee includes access to the FDE Academy curriculum,required AI tools access, IIT Roorkee academic sessions (Weeks 1-12), the Goa AI Retreat (accommodation and scheduled sessions; Travel Not Included), and the Deep Career Assistance suite.

2. Refund Policy

2.1. The 14-Day Window: Refund requests will only be entertained if submitted in writing to the Admissions Office within 14 calendar days (2 weeks) from the official program start date.

2.2. Deductions: In the event of an approved refund within the 14-day window, the following non-refundable costs will be deducted from the total amount paid:

  • IIT Roorkee Certification & Academic Fee: ₹45,000 + Applicable GST. The student will continue to have access to the academic credentials and content associated with this phase as per IIT Roorkee’s policy.
  • Administrative & Processing Fee: ₹10,000. This covers administrative overhead, No-Cost EMI interest borne by the company, consumed tool subscriptions, and sessions attended.

2.3. Post-Window Cutoff: No refund requests will be accepted, processed, or entertained under any circumstances after the completion of the 14th day from the program start date.

3. Deferral Policy

3.1. Request to Pause: A student may request to defer their enrollment to the subsequent cohort due to unforeseen personal or professional exigencies. Deferral requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

3.2. Fee Differential: In the event of a deferral, the student is liable to pay the additional cost if the program fee for the new cohort has increased. The "locked-in" price only applies to the current cohort.

3.3. Validity: A deferral is valid for a maximum of one subsequent cohort, after which the enrollment will be considered cancelled without a refund.

4. Deep Career Assistance & Extensions

4.1. Eligibility for Placement Support: To qualify for "Deep Career Assistance" (including role mapping, interview prep, and corporate referrals), the student must maintain:

  • Minimum 75% Attendance.
  • 100% completion rate for all Mandatory Deployments.
  • Completion of the Final FDE Capstone Project.

4.2. Performance Shortfall: If a student fails to complete the required artifacts within the program duration, they will be ineligible for deep career support.

4.3. One-Time Extension: Students falling short of completion requirements may request a one-time, 45-day extension post-program completion to submit pending assignments and regain eligibility for career assistance. This request must be made in writing before the final week of the program.

5. Attendance & Certification

5.1. Minimum Attendance: Students are required to maintain at least 75% attendance in both FDE Academy live sessions and IIT Roorkee academic sessions to be eligible for the final certifications.

5.2. Certification Issuance: The PGP Certification from FDE Academy and the Professional Certification in association with IIT Roorkee will only be issued upon successful completion of all academic and financial obligations.

6. Conduct & Intellectual Property

6.1. Code of Conduct: FDE Academy maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism, harassment, or any conduct that brings disrepute to the FDE Academy or IIT Roorkee. Breach of conduct may lead to immediate termination of enrollment without refund.

6.2. IP Rights: All curriculum materials, proprietary frameworks (including the FDE LAB™ Method), and enterprise simulation data provided are the intellectual property of the FDE Academy. Any unauthorized distribution, recording of sessions, or commercial use will lead to immediate legal action and expulsion.

7. Legal Immunity & Limitation of Liability

7.1. No Guarantee of Employment: While FDE Academy provides Deep Career Assistance, enrollment does not guarantee employment, salary hikes, or specific job offers. The final outcome of placement support is dependent on the student's performance and market conditions.

7.2. Limitation of Liability: In no event shall FDE Academy, Futurense Technologies, or IIT Roorkee be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or opportunity) arising out of the program. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount of fees paid by the student.

7.3. Indemnification: The student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless FDE Academy and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the student’s misconduct, violation of third-party IP, or breach of this agreement.

8. Third-Party Services & Technical Caveats

8.1. AI Tool Dependency: The program utilizes third-party GenAI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS). FDE Academy is not responsible for any service outages, API changes, or data policy updates from these third-party providers.

8.2. Right to Modify: FDE Academy reserves the right to modify the curriculum, tools used, or the order of modules to stay updated with the rapidly evolving AI industry landscape without prior notice, provided the core learning objectives are met.

8.3. Tool Access & Usage Limits: FDE Academy will provide the Student with access to certain paid AI tools and platforms required for the curriculum. Sufficient token limits and credits will be provided for the successful completion of all mandatory projects and assignments. However, if a Student uses these tools for personal access or activities outside the program scope and exhausts the allocated limits, FDE Academy shall not be liable for providing additional limits. Any extra costs for continued access in such cases shall be borne by the Student.

9. Campus Immersion & Force Majeure

9.1. Travel & Stay: For the Goa AI Retreat and IIT Roorkee Immersion, students are responsible for their own travel arrangements and insurance.

9.2. Force Majeure: FDE Academy shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance (including postponement of sessions or immersions) resulting from acts of God, pandemics, government restrictions, internet outages, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

10.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

10.2. Any disputes arising out of this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
